Shock, as this can force water and debris inside which will damage the seals. Dry the shock assembly with compressed air, if available, or use clean towels. Back the rebound adjustment knob out until the clicking stops. Set the compression adjustment knob to the #1 position. Clamp the body cap of shock securely in vice, with the shaft. If you aren't sure what bath oil to use inside your Fox fork, check Fox's bath oil volume chart to find both the type of oil and oil volume used for each model fork. Pump Up Air chamber. Before you slide the lower legs back on to the upper tubes, attach the Fox Digital shock pump on to the fork and pump up the air chamber to 60 psi.

Regular maintenance of your products will increase its performance and lifespan. It is recommended that your fork, shock or seat post receive a Full Factory Service every 125hrs or yearly - which ever comes first*
Suspension product will require more frequent servicing the harder they are worked. For those who ride lift-accessed DH, Park, or Extreme Freeride or in extremely wet/muddy or dry/dusty environmental conditions where trail debris is sprayed onto the fork or shock while on the trail, FOX encourages riders to perform maintenance earlier than recommended above as needed.
If you hear, see, or feel something unusual, stop riding immediately and contact a FOX Authorized Service Center for proper servicing.
Fork Factory Service
$185 USD / $200 CAD*
- Thorough inspection of fork for damage and/or wear.
- Complete tear down and rebuild of damper, including new seals and oil.
- New dust wipers and foam rings.
- Air spring assembly rebuild with new seals (F-series and FLOAT models).
- Fork bushings will be replaced when deemed necessary.
Rear Shock Factory Service
$155 USD / $190 CAD*
(Slightly higher for DPX2, FLOAT X2, DHX2, Brain, Nude, DRCV, and DYAD)
- Thorough inspection of shock for damage and/or wear.
- Complete tear down and rebuild of damper, including new seals, oil, and nitrogen recharge (for models requiring nitrogen charge).
- New air seals (if applicable).
- New Eyelet Hardware is available upon request at an additional charge.
Transfer Factory Service
$100 USD / $120 CAD*
- Complete overhaul of Seat Post internals
- All seals replaced
- Damper re-bled with new Damper oil
- Will look and perform as new
*Price may be higher if product is severely damaged and requires replacement parts that will exceed original estimate.
